More about Liposomal R-Alpha Lipoic Acid

R-Apha-lipoic acid is a fatty acid containing sulphur. It is also an antioxidant our body is producing itself. It is soluble in fat as well as in water. This material can be found in all of our cells and it is being produced in small quantities in the mitochondria which are providing energy to the cell. This helps the enzymes in the cells to transform nutrients to energy.

R-Alpha-lipoic acid is the bioactive form of ALP as opposed to the S-Alpha-lipoic acid form which is often contained in cheaper alpha-lipoic acid supplements.  This product has been enriched with vitamin C to make it more effective.
