Glutathione is a tripeptide2 produced by the body that is composed of the amino acids cystein, glycin, and glutamic acid. Gluthatione appears in virtually all cells at high concentrations and is one of the main antioxidants in the body. Glutathione is a vital tripeptide, which has been much studied.
